The Bowen Technique is a gentle, non-invasive, no nonsense, hands on therapy. This technique reawakens the body’s own ability to heal and repair.

The work is very subtle, relaxing and gentle, it does not involve any hard or prolonged pressure.
 

One of the features of the Bowen Technique is that breaks are given between sets of moves, during which the therapist leaves the room, this allows the clients body time to respond to the moves given.
 

The treatment is effectively asking the body to undertake the process of repair, which is why Bowen is considered to prompt the body to heal itself, can be used in many circumstance where other therapies cannot be used.
